Space is the Vessel

This series of tondo paintings considers the body as both a container and a threshold of transformation. The circular format functions as a symbolic vessel, evoking cyclical processes of nature and time. Drawing on my lived experience, the work in this series connects awareness of inhabiting an aging female body to mythic cosmological narratives, such as creation, dismemberment, surrender, and renewal.
