In August, Opelika-Auburn Film Arts Collective invited local artists to participate in the No Budget Summer Film Workshop for students.
They held a free, week-long film camp where students created videos based on a group exhibition of our work. At the end we got together to share about our practices and watch what the students created during the week. I was inspired by the deep engagement of the young artists in such a short period of time and by the local community’s support.
