SPACE IS THE VESSEL

Space is the Vessel

In this series of tondo paintings, I explore the concept of a body as both a container and a threshold, linking personal experiences inhabiting an aging female body to broader cosmic, ecological, and mythological narratives, including creation, dismemberment, and transformation myths. Central to each piece is the circle, which embodies the cycles of growth, loss, and renewal in a realm beyond linear time. With this imagery, I aim to create poetic visual spaces that evoke myth as a vehicle for both individual and collective reflection.
